An Evening with Choirs set for April 18

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Mark your calendars and get ready for an evening of music ministry at Travelers Rest Baptist Church on Saturday, April 18. 

The church, located at 718 Bowmar Avenue, is hosting “An Evening with Choirs” beginning at 6 p.m. 

The evening is a musical event designed to celebrate and promote excellence in music ministry, highlighting the ‘church choir’. This event will showcase local community church choirs separately, then culminate with all choirs combining to minister collectively on one platform.

The ultimate goal is to foster a sense of unity amongst Christians & non-Christians alike, as a means of spreading “The Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations.” – Matthew 28:19

Guest performances will be from New Jerusalem Church Choir, New Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church Choir, Greater Rose Hill Church Choir, Mark Powell & The Voices of Christ, and United Voices of Worship Mass Choir. 

The event is open to all with free admission.
