Army-Navy Club shows appreciation for Vicksburg Cotillion Club

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Army-Navy Club of Vicksburg recently showed great app reaction due to the efforts of the Vicksburg Cotillion Club.

The Cotillion Club recently made a generous donation of personal items for the Army-Navy Club’s 2026 Veterans Patriot  Bags Project. 

The project centers around collecting donations of blankets, socks, mints, lifesavers, notebooks, pencils, tissues, mouthwash, deodorant, dental floss picks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand sanitizer, and other personal hygiene products. The products are places in gift bags to go to Mississippi Veterans. 

In a show of their gratitude, the Army-Navy Club presented the Cotillion Club with a Certificate of Appreciation in a special program on Wednesday, March 18. 

In response, the Cotillion Club thanked the veterans for their service and for honoring their club. 

In a social media post, Cotillion Club leader Sydney Sullivan, said the club was grateful for local veterans and their service. 

“We’re so thankful for the opportunity to give back to them,” said Sullivan.
