ERDC ‘packs the bus’ with school supplies
Volunteers from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, ERDC, recently rolled up their sleeves to pack and hand-deliver donated school supplies.
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Volunteers from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, ERDC, recently rolled up their sleeves to pack and hand-deliver donated school supplies collected during the organization’s 2026 “Pack the Bus” School Supply Drive.
ERDC Deputy Commander Maj. Matthew Hartke, along with the ERDC Public Affairs Office, distributed the donated items to representatives from three community partners: Good Shepherd Community Center, the Warren County Children’s Shelter and Vicksburg Family Development. The donations will be given to local students for the start of the new school year.
