A local great, Mark Doyle, has died

Musician Mark Doyle unexpectedly passed away Thursday night.
Doyle, who has played with countless bands including Little Richard’s, was found in his house by friends late Thursday after he didn’t respond to a text message. His best friend, Angela Wright Neilson, became concerned when he didn’t respond and sent her husband to check on him.

Endlessly humble and wickedly funny, if you met Mark and didn’t know who he was, you still wouldn’t know who he was other than a kind, witty, and fun person to be around.
