Enchanted Gator-Bration Homecoming: A success at VJHS

VICKSBURG, MS – On October 7, 2024, Vicksburg Jr. High School hosted its highly anticipated Homecoming event, “A Royal Evening in the Swamp: King Geordon and Queen Madisyn’s Enchanted Gator-Bration.” The evening was filled with excitement, as students, faculty, staff, and families gathered to celebrate school spirit and community pride.

The highlight of the evening was the coronation of King Geordon and Queen Madisyn, who were honored for their outstanding contributions to the school. The festivities included vibrant decorations, music, dancing, and special activities that brought the Gator community together for an unforgettable night.

Principal Dr. Watkins praised the hard work of the entire Vicksburg Jr. High team, saying, “The success of this year’s Enchanted Gator-Bration is a testament to the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students. The event showcased the pride and unity that defines our school.”

The Gator-Bration was a resounding success, leaving everyone eager for next year’s celebration.
