Four Warren County Athletes to Play in the Future Elit3 8th Grade All-Star Basketball Game

Vicksburg, Miss.-Four Warren County teenagers have been selected to play in the Magnolia Sports Association Future Elit3 8th Grade All-Star Basketball Game. Kelci Bingham, Ja’Ven Lee, Antwuan Chiplin, and Jordan Taylor have all been chosen to play in the prestigious game.
Kelci Bingham:

Bingham led the St. Aloysius Junior High School team to a winning season. The eighth-grade point guard led the Lady Flashes in points on several occasions, including in wins against River Oaks and Humphrey’s Academy.
Ja’Ven Lee and Jordan Taylor:

Lee and Taylor are both teammates on the Warren Central Junior High School basketball team. Lee was the team’s lead scorer and he had multiple games where he scored over 20 points. Taylor was the team’s small forward where he and Lee were a dynamic-duo. In a win against Vicksburg Junior High, Lee scored 18 points and Taylor put up 16. They both led WCJHS to a Little Six Championship under Head Coach Charles Swartz.

Antwuan Chiplin:
Chiplin played at Vicksburg Junior High School under Head Coach Jerdon Hardiman. He was the team’s shooting guard and led the Gators in points on several occasions. In a 51-22 win against Clinton Junior High School, Chiplin scored an impressive 17 points.

The All-Star Game will be played on May 4, 2025, at East Central Community College. The girls will play at 12 p.m. and the boys at 2 p.m.
