VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg High School girls’ basketball player Ny’Keria Watson has been selected to participate in the fifth annual Talkin’ Hoops In Da Sip Showcase. The event will be held on March 22, 2025, at Madison-Ridgeland Academy.

Watson will be able to showcase her talents in front of college scouts as she will compete against other top athletes who were selected.

Watson is a sophomore who plays under Head Coach Troy Stewart. The Missy Gators went 18-13 in 2025.
