Judge Terrett partners with One Voice for ‘Government 101’ workshop

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Circuit Judge Toni Walker Terrett is teaming up with the civic engagement group One Voice to host a “Government 101” workshop on Sept. 25 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Warren County–Vicksburg Public Library, 700 Veto Street.

The event is designed as an informal refresher course on how government functions at the local, state, and national levels.

The workshop is nonpartisan, focusing on how government decisions shape daily life for citizens. One Voice, a Jackson-based nonprofit, regularly provides training and education programs across Mississippi to strengthen civic understanding and participation.

The workshop is free to attend and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
