J’Wonn to Perform at Waterview Casino on June 13

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Soul singer J’Wonn is set to perform at Waterview Casino on June 13.

Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase through Eventbrite.

J’Wonn, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, built a name for himself following the release of his hit single, “I Got This Record.”

His love for blues music developed while growing up around his mother and grandmother, who often sang around the house. At age 13, he began writing his own music and later went on to write songs for numerous blues and soul artists.

One of his most notable songwriting accomplishments was penning a track for legendary soul artist Lenny Williams.

During high school, J’Wonn was a member of a hip-hop group that incorporated elements of R&B. The group secured an artist development deal, providing him with valuable experience navigating the music industry and helping him grow as a performer.
