MHP, Homeland Security Conducting Training Exercise In Multiple Counties Today

Press Release from MHP:

The Mississippi Highway Patrol will assist Homeland Security in a training exercise today and tomorrow.

The exercise will occur in Hinds, Rankin, Smith, Jasper, and Jones Counties.

You may see vehicles accompanied by a trooper making frequent stops in the previously listed locations.

Some may see participants in this exercise wearing full chemical protective gear.

THIS IS ONLY A TRAINING EXERCISE.
