VICKSBURG, Miss. – The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra will present Mozart by Candlelight, at the Church of the Holy Trinity on Sunday, Jan. 12. at 7 p.m.

The event, presented by the Four Seasons of the Arts, will offer a carefully curated program featuring compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, performed in an intimate and atmospheric setting enhanced by candlelight.

In addition to season concerts, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra reaches some 15,000 students annually. More than 1,000 school children receive weekly string instruction. Research has shown that vital skills of reasoning, creativity, decision-making and problem-solving have been linked to musical training. These programs impact the lives of the students, and the community as a whole, by offering opportunities for growth and success in a format that otherwise may not be available.

The event is free and open to the public. The Church of the Holy Trinity is located at 900 South St.
