One shot on Greenview Drive

One person has been shot on Greenview Drive in Vicksburg.

At about 1:15 this afternoon reports of a shooting came into the Vicksburg Warren 911 Call Center.

According to radio traffic, a man was struck in the ankle by a single shot. The individual was speaking with law enforcement about the incident. The assailant was known to the victim.

Units with the VPD and the Sheriff’s Office were responding to this call along with a fire medic unit and the fire department.
