Porter’s Chapel Academy came out on top on Friday night as they picked up a 42-36 overtime win against Wilkinson County Christian.

By halftime, the Eagles were up 20-18 but a 16-point lead slipped away in the fourth quarter as the game was forced to go into overtime. The Rams went on offense first but PCA’s Conley Johnston flew through the line to earn the sack which gave possession of the ball back to the Eagles. Senior Jase Jung then ran in a 10-yard score to give PCA the win.

Jung finished the game with 276 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Johnston racked up eight tackles and three sacks while Henry Slayton had nine tackles and two sacks. Auston Moore finished with six carries and 50 rushing yards.

PCA will host Prairie View Academy on Friday to determine who will win the district championship.
