St. Aloysius High School football team finished senior night with a bang as they defeated Manchester Academy 28-7.

“This feels great and the boys played hard and fought all four quarters so that’s a big thing,” Head Coach Walker Mosby said.

Thompson Fortenberry had a field day at running back as he rushed for three touchdowns and over 200 yards. The Flashes had a total of 340 rushing yards on the night. John Ellis Montgomery was successful on each of his four extra points. Sadler Lambiotte also rushed for a 30-yard touchdown.

Defensively, Carson Smith caught an interception while Jaden Weldon, Marcus Flowers, and Evan Mallard all grabbed multiple tackles. Clark Hobson also recovered a fumble.

St. Aloysius will travel to Winston Academy next week.
