St. Aloysius wins the Bulldog Bash Spring Break Tournament

Avon, Miss.(VDN)–St. Aloysius baseball team ended Wednesday as champions of the Bulldog Bash Spring Break Tournament. The Tournament was held at Riverside High School where the Flashes went 3-0 against Greenville, Indianola Academy, and Riverside High School.
In game one, St. Al shutout Greenville 13-0 in four innings. The Flashes earned 10 runs in the final inning.
Carson Smith hit a double and went 3 for 4 with three RBIs. Walt Andrews(1 RBI) hit a double and Keller Bradley(2 RBIs) hit a triple. Laken Bradley(2 RBIs), Clark Hobson(2 RBIs), and Robert Lee all had one hit. Pierson Smith hit an RBI and Sadler Lambiotte went 2 for 2 with one RBI.
Max Hargrave struck out nine batters and only allowed one hit.
In game two, the Flashes defeated Indianola Academy 11-6.
Keller Bradley hit a triple and went 3 for 4 with three RBIs. Pierson Smith went 2 for 2 and he also hit an RBI and a triple. Andrews(1 RBI) went 2 for 3 while Sadler Lambiotte hit a double and went 1 for 2 with three RBIs. Carson Smith had two hits and William Roberson had one.
Evan Mallard struck out two batters and Laken Bradley struck out one.
In game three, the Flashes shutout Riverside 17-0.
Carson Smith hit a double and a triple along with an RBI while Keller Bradley hit a double and went 2 for 4 with four RBIs. Scoot Melton hit a double while Hobson, Cohen Coomes(1 RBI), Evan Mallard(1 RBI), and Andrews(2 RBIs) all had one hit. Lambiotte and Pierson Smith each hit an RBI.
Keller Bradley struck out four batters and Coomes struck out three.
The Flashes are 8-6 on the year under Head Coach Jay Harper and they will travel to play Adams County Christian School on March 25.
