Simpson County teen shot in back getting off school bus

Authorities say a Simpson County teenager who was shot just after getting off a bus is recovering.

Simpson County Sheriff Paul Mullins told WLBT that the 16-year-old was shot in the back after getting off the school bus around 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Investigators told reporters it seemed as though the victim was targeted.
