Telecommunicator Spotlight – Hannah Williams

National Telecommunicators Week is coming up in April. Vicksburg Warren 911 has several telecommunication professionals who work day and night to keep you safe. This series of articles will highlight each one.
This week we are featuring Hannah Williams.
Hannah Williams has been with Vicksburg Warren E911 for over 4 years. She moved from Searcy, AR to Vicksburg, MS in 2015. She originally moved to be closer to her family, and amazingly enough met her husband of 7 years, Jeremy Williams.
When their families merged and became closer is when she learned about 911, and was interested in working there. So she applied and was hired. She dove in head first and has been invested ever since. She says she has learned so much about herself, and life, and came to know and care about so many amazing people.
Hannah also says her life has been forever changed by this experience. Williams said some of her best and worst days have been in the comm, but being the calm voice on the other end of the phone on someone’s worst day is what makes her Hannah.
Hannah is a mother to three beautiful children, Beau (6), Bailor (5), and Hadley (2). Needless to say, there’s never a dull moment, but she says she wouldn’t have life any other way. Hannah says being able to help protect and serve the community where her children attend school, her husband works, and where their family gathers to praise the Lord is the most rewarding feeling. Hannah says here at 911, we will be here on the good and bad days, protecting the citizens, and the men and women who put their lives on the line every day.
Hannah and her family are members of Elevate Church.
