The Strand presents Jim Henson’s “The Dark Crystal”

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg’s The Strand Theatre will present showings of Jim Henson’s “The Dark Crystal” this month.

Make plans to visit The Strand Saturday, Nov. 8, beginning at 7 p.m. to enjoy “The Dark Crystal“. Released in 1982, the film depicts a battle between good and evil which takes place when an orphan begins a quest to find a missing shard of a crystal that holds the world in equilibrium.

Tickets are $9 in advance at Highway 61 Coffeehouse and $10 at the door. The Strand is located at 717 Clay Street.

And of course, the popcorn is free.
