Vicksburg native Alec Bailey, known professionally as Lil Bailey, has signed a new record deal with Hitmaker Music Group, marking another milestone in his rapidly growing music career.

Bailey finalized the agreement last week, announcing that the deal includes two albums. He also said CEO Dollar and fellow Vicksburg native Jermaine Smith will serve as his managers. They are a part of Dreamworld Agency.

The rapper has continued to build momentum online with the release of his latest single, “RNLN,” which has amassed more than 1 million combined streams across social media platforms.

Bailey first gained widespread attention last year with his breakout single, “Where You At,” a remix of R. Kelly’s hit “I’m a Flirt.” The song generated more than 5 million views, helping introduce his music to a much larger audience.

Known for his high-energy freestyles, Bailey has continued to grow his fan base by consistently releasing new music and viral performances, further establishing himself as an emerging artist in the rap industry.

Fans will not have to wait long for his next project. Bailey said his first album under Hitmaker Music Group, titled Almost Healed, is scheduled for release in September.

His previous album, Unapologetic, was released last year and has accumulated more than 2.5 million streams.

Bailey is a 2018 graduate of Vicksburg High School. He later played football at Alcorn State University, where he earned a master’s degree in business.
