NHS got the first two runs in the game, one in the second inning and one in the third.

The fifth inning was the magic touch that WC needed as they picked up four runs, beginning with a walk from Trace Hood. Blake Caruthers helped the Vikings take the lead when he smashed a 3-run double to put WC up 4-2.

The Rockets were able to get on the board one more time in the sixth but WC quickly put the game away as Caden Cole came in to pitch.
