Six time Academy Award winner One Battle After Another this Saturday at the Strand

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — One Battle After Another will be shown this Saturday evening at the Strand Theater, 717 Clay Street, in Vicksburg.

One Battle After Another is an epic black comedy action thriller film, produced, written, and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood). The 2025 effort won six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay.

It is a big story about a society divided. It takes place in a kind of now. When their evil enemy resurfaces after 16 years, a group of ex-revolutionaries reunites to rescue one of their own’s daughter. The cast includes: Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Chase Infiniti, and Regina Hall.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. showing are $9 in advance at Highway 61 Coffeehouse and $10 at the door.
