Giants Won the YMCA Flag Football Championship

Vicksburg, Ms –The Bovina Giants won the YMCA Flag Football Championship on Thursday night. The game was held at Key City Parks where both the Giants and Rockets were undefeated.

Titus Morgan got a safety to start the game for the Giants. Titus also had a long touchdown and caught another touchdown from his brother Decatur Morgan. Just before halftime, Brooks Caruthers caught a pass over two defenders as the Giants had a 16-15 halftime lead. Caruthers also caught two 2-point conversions.

In the second half, Titus scored another touchdown and he also caught an interception. Ryker Middleton scored the final touchdown from a long run. 

The Giants finished with a 7-0 record and the Rockets finished 6-1.
