Port Gibson stays unbeaten with 26-14 win over Wilkinson County

PORT GIBSON, Miss. (VDN) — Port Gibson High School kept its perfect record intact Friday night with a 26-14 victory over Wilkinson County. The Blue Waves improved to 3-0 under head coach Harry Brown as they continued their strong start to the season.
Lenell Snyder led the way with two rushing touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Quarterback KiMontae Crutison contributed 170 yards of total offense, while Joseph Porter hauled in three catches for 60 yards and added an interception on defense.
The defensive star of the night was LeQuentin Reynolds, who returned two interceptions for 50-yard touchdowns and recorded 10 tackles. Jakyrun Barnes also chipped in with 70 rushing yards and six tackles.
Port Gibson’s defense is allowing just 11 points per game this season, while the offense is averaging 17. The Blue Waves will look to extend their unbeaten streak next Friday when they host Simmons High School.
