Nguyen honored for 25 years of service to VPD

VICKSBURG, Miss., (VDN) — The City of Vicksburg honored Vicksburg Police Officer Lieutenant Hung Nguyen at the regular board meeting held Monday, Dec. 15.

Vicksburg Mayor Willis Thompson and Ward 1 Alderman Thomas “TJ” Mayfield presented Lt. Nguyen with the award and honor.

Nguyen currently serves as a lieutenant in the Criminal Investigations unit at the Vicksburg Police Department. He was honored for dedicating 25 years of service to the city and the department.
