The free event will be held from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., rain or shine, and aims to provide a proper disposal location for all the items which cannot be handled by typical waste management.

Examples of hazardous items to be accepted are as follows: batteries, used motor oil, antifreeze, insecticides, pesticides, aerosols, acids, flammable liquids, paint, computer equipment, l.p. cylinders, tv’s, ammunition, etc.

Examples of non-hazardous items to be accepted include tires, furniture, flags, and metals-appliances, brass, aluminum, copper, steel, and bi-metal cans.

The event will also provide free document shredding, but participants are asked to remove all staples, paperclips, binder clips and other metal objects.
