Lillie Mae “Snookie” Ford

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Funeral services for Lillie Mae “Snookie” Ford are to be held on Saturday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Reverend James Archie Officiating; interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 2, in the funeral home from 5 p.m until 6 p.m. 

Ford went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 29, following a brief illness.  She was 86.  She was a housewife and member of the Baptist faith.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Fannie Lou Moore, her paternal grandparent Laura Franklin and her daughter Annette Williams .

She leaves to cherish her memories her sons Danny Moore, Terry Franklin, Percy Williams and Eddie Ford, III; her daughters Rosie Williams, Lisa Williams, Diane Williams, Delora Williams and Tina Ford; and a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
