Larsen, Doiron and Newman earns top honors at Christian Values Conference

Members of the Vicksburg YMCA returned home from the 2026 Christian Values Conference in Blue Mountain, North Carolina, with several receiving prestigious honors during the event’s awards ceremony.

Olivia Larsen, who served as the 2026 Conference Leadership Council (CLC) representative, was recognized for her dedication and leadership throughout the past year. Conference officials honored Larsen for her work planning and organizing the 2026 conference and for representing the Vicksburg delegation with leadership, service and commitment.

Audrey Grace Newman was selected as Vicksburg’s 2027 Conference Leadership Council representative. She will serve in the leadership role over the coming year as preparations begin for the next conference.

Phillip Doiron, CEO of the Vicksburg YMCA, also received one of the conference’s highest honors, the Dr. Paul Grist Award. The award recognizes faithful leadership and service to the Christian Values Conference.

The Vicksburg group traveled to Blue Mountain to participate in the annual Christian Values Conference, which gives teenagers an opportunity to strengthen their Christian values while fellowshipping with students from across the United States.
