Ann Gabriel 1969-2026

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Ann Gabriel, a woman of unwavering strength and boundless love, entered eternal paradise on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Born with a resilient spirit and a heart that never stopped giving, Ann lived her life with courage, compassion, and a fierce devotion to the people she loved most.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lydia Barnes, whose memory she carried tenderly throughout her life. She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas Gabriel, who remained her steadfast partner through every season. She is also survived by her cherished stepfather, William Barns, and her brother, Christopher Booth, who loved her deeply and her Aunt, Gloria Gallardo. 

Ann’s greatest joy was her family. She poured her heart into her children, who were the center of her world:

• Brandi Clark, mother of five

Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren, each one carrying a piece of her strength, humor, and warmth.
