At least two shot in Vicksburg
At around 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 18, Vicksburg Police Department responded to a shots fired call at Jefferson Circle and Tully Street in Vicksburg.

Just before 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 18, the Vicksburg Police Department responded to a shots fired call at Jefferson Circle and Tully Street in Vicksburg.
Initially one person was hit in the abdomen. A few minutes later a gunshot victim showed up at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm, saying they were shot at a different location.
About 40 minutes later a male arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound saying he was shot while in the area of 4700 61 South.
The male victim with a gunshot wound to the arm transported himself to an area hospital.The victim who was shot in the abdomen was transported by Fire Medic 40 to River Region Merit Health.
Police investigators are working to determine if any of the shootings are related.
