Porter’s Chapel Academy fell to Wilkinson County Christian 50-6 on Friday night as injuries continued to take a toll on the Eagles.

The loss dropped PCA to 2-5 on the season as the Eagles continue to play without several key players.

PCA’s lone touchdown came in the first quarter when Myles Randle broke free for a 25-yard touchdown run. Benton Academy eventually pulled away and took a 32-6 lead into halftime.

Defensively, Cade Cantin led the Eagles with six tackles. Randle and Lakelan Pecanty each finished with five tackles.

With multiple players sidelined by injuries, PCA is still searching for a spark to turn its season around. The Eagles have been forced to rely on younger players to step into larger roles and compete as the season progresses.

PCA will return to the road next week to face Benton Academy. The Eagles’ most recent victory came two weeks ago when they defeated Riverdale Academy 44-22.
