Vicksburg sweeps Leake Central on Senior Night
Vicksburg High School celebrated Senior Night with victories over Leake Central, as both the varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams won in straight sets. The varsity team showcased a dominant performance, winning 25-11, 25-5, and 25-8.
Vicksburg High School celebrated Senior Night with a pair of victories over Leake Central on Tuesday as both the varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams earned straight-set wins.
The Missy Gators’ varsity team dominated from start to finish, winning 25-11, 25-5 and 25-8.
Jermaria Wright finished with one ace, 15 points, one kill and six digs, while Alaina Williams recorded five aces and 16 points. Divine Tulloch added two aces, two points and four digs.
Kenley Henderson finished with one ace, 11 points, one kill and six digs, while Ny’Keria Watson had two points and three digs. Zaria Jones contributed one ace, 15 points, five kills, one block and seven digs.
Harmony Harris recorded five points, two blocks and four digs, while Zipporah Drake finished with 10 points and two digs.
Vicksburg’s junior varsity team also picked up a straight-set victory, defeating Leake Central 25-15 and 25-11.
Lateal Truitt recorded two digs, while Maleah Davis finished with one point and eight digs. Khaliyah Thompson had one ace, three points and four digs, while Imani Kelly contributed two aces, five points, two kills and seven digs.
Kitana Green finished with five points and seven digs, while Reagan Hill recorded one dig. Alexandria Harris added three points and four digs, and Kamaya Wilson finished with two aces, five points and six digs.
Ta’liyah McDaniel recorded three aces, two kills, 12 points and five digs. Madisyn Kimble added two aces, eight points and 11 digs, while Rania Kilpatrick finished with three digs and Jakia Truitt recorded one dig.
