Anchuca receives Lodging of the Year Award

Managing partner and co-owner Anna Kate Andrews accepted the award on behalf of Anchuca on Thursday, Oct. 8, in Oxford.

Winners in each category were selected through a competitive process and scored by independent judges from outside Mississippi.

Following the recognition, Anchuca thanked its guests, staff members and tourism partners at Visit Vicksburg, especially Executive Director Laura Beth Strickland, for their continued support.

Anchuca also expressed its commitment to improving the guest experience while continuing its preservation efforts.

According to Anchuca, every dollar earned by the property, along with additional funds, is reinvested into the historic mansion to ensure it can continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.
