Addison Anderson, a Vicksburg native and 2026 graduate of Vicksburg High School, has been elected Miss Freshman for the 2026-27 academic year at Alcorn State University.
The announcement was made earlier this week by Alcorn State’s Student Government Association, which revealed that Anderson received the most votes among candidates for the freshman class title.
The accomplishment marks a significant milestone in Anderson’s college journey as she continues to demonstrate leadership and involvement beyond her high school years.
Anderson graduated from Vicksburg High School just a few months ago, where she was a member of the basketball cheerleading team and served on the student council.
She will now represent the freshman class at Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi.
