The Larsen family is expanding Rusty’s Riverfront Grill with a new location in Oxford, Mississippi. The popular Vicksburg restaurant will soon bring its seafood and coastal-inspired dishes to another part of the state.

The new restaurant, named Rusty’s Oxford, will be located at The Belle Commons in the Oxford Commons community, just off the frontage road.

Construction is currently underway, with the family hoping to open the restaurant in April 2027.

Rusty’s Oxford will feature many of the same menu favorites that customers have come to enjoy at the Vicksburg location, with a strong emphasis on fresh seafood and coastal-inspired dishes.

The expansion will also bring a taste of the Mississippi Gulf Coast to Oxford while maintaining the food and hospitality that have helped establish the restaurant’s reputation in Vicksburg.

Rusty’s Riverfront Grill first opened its doors in Vicksburg in 2001 and has since become a popular dining destination for both residents and visitors.

Located at 901 Washington St., just one block from the Riverfront Murals and two blocks from the Old Courthouse Museum, the restaurant has built a strong reputation for its seafood, steaks and Cajun-inspired dishes.

Now, after more than two decades of serving the Vicksburg community, the Larsen family is preparing to bring the Rusty’s experience to Oxford.

The family looks forward to becoming part of the Oxford community and welcoming customers to its newest location once construction is complete.
