BOS releases agenda for Oct. 19 meeting

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Warren County Board of Supervisors has released the agenda for the regular meeting set for Monday, Oct. 19, beginning at 9 a.m. The BOS meets in the third floor Boardroom of the Warren County Courthouse located at 1009 Cherry Street in Vicksburg.

The agenda is as follows:

Jamie Cain, Road Manager

• Approve removing Maurice Edwards from the payroll effective 9/22/2026

Keith O’Keefe, County Engineer

• Award bid for NRCS Group 12 Sites

Victoria Bell, Purchasing Clerk

• Amend professional service agreement for TechSource Solutions, Inc.

Blake Teller, Board Attorney
• Approve and Authorize Board President to sign Resolution declaring the intention to enter into a Regional Economic Development Act Alliance agreement with the City of Vicksburg for the participation in the financing of a portion of the costs of a new visitor’s center for the Vicksburg National Military Park

Nkemdili Lewis, County Administrator
• Approve and authorize Board President to sign letter reappointing Greg Sellers as representative for the Warren County-Vicksburg Public Library Board of Trustees, District 1

Beverly Johnson, Chancery Clerk

• Approve Claims Docket for October 19, 2026
• Approve Vicksburg Bridge Commission claims docket for the month ofSeptember 2026
• Accept Vicksburg Bridge Commission minutes for September 9, 2026
• Accept for information the Chancery Clerk’s Land Redemption SettlementReport for September 2026
• Accept for information a listing of public records disposed of by Warren CountyRecords Management, Christina White, as approved by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History
