City of Vicksburg to host Public Works job fair July 15
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
The City of Vicksburg is seeking new employees for multiple positions within its Public Works Department and will host a job fair later this month.
The hiring event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 901 Monroe St. in Vicksburg.
City officials are looking to fill positions in the following departments:
- Water
- Gas
- Sewer
- Street
- Right of Way
- Traffic
- Landscaping
- Cemetery
Applicants are encouraged to bring a completed employment application, a valid driver’s license and a current resume to the job fair.
According to the city, the event is an opportunity for individuals seeking a stable career while serving the Vicksburg community.
