Dangerous cold weather returns on Friday and Saturday night

Dangerously cold weather will return to Vicksburg and Warren County again on Friday and Saturday night.

The National Weather Service in Jackson has an alert for our area. “Dangerous Cold is expected across the entire state Friday and Saturday night. Frostbite and Hypothermia are likely with prolonged outdoor exposure.”

Temperatures are expected to go below 20 degrees and with wind chill, it will feel like 5 degrees.
