East Central welcomes Brooke Fagan as a new assistant softball coach.

Coach Fagan graduated from Mississippi College, where she was a Graduate Assistant before coming to East Central. She played at Mississippi College as an infielder on the Lady Choctaws Softball Team from 2020-2023. She was named to 2nd Team All-GSC, D2CCA 2nd Team All-South Region, NFCA 2nd Team All-South Region, 2023 All-GSC Tournament Team, CSC Academic All-District Team, and 1x GSC Player of the Week.

Brooke Fagan, a native of Poplarville, Mississippi, had a great playing career at Pearl River Community College prior to Mississippi College under Coach Leigh White, Head Softball Coach at East Central Community College, her freshman year, and Coach Christie Meeks, Head Softball Coach at Pearl River Community College, her sophomore year, which was cut short because of covid. She finished her Sophomore campaign with a .397 batting average, .527 OBP, and 22 RBIs with 21 runs scored. During her Freshman campaign, she was named to the MACJC All-State & Region XXlll All-Region Team, where they hosted the regional tournament for the 1st time in school history and finished runner-up in the state tournament, finishing with a .355 batting average, .432 OBP, 25 RBI’s with 44 runs scored. She prepped at Hancock High School in Kiln, MS, where she was an All-State Selection.

Fagan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management in May of 2022 and a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration in May of 2024.
