G6:2 Outdoors hunt is happening this weekend

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”

G6:2 Outdoors is a group of area hunters, Christian-based, who put on an annual hunt for individuals who normally would not be able to get into the woods. This event is happening this weekend and is being hosted at the Bovina Baptist Church.

Hunters team up with a group that assists them in getting to a good hunting spot and harvesting the deer. That includes dragging it out of the woods and skinning it on site. The hunter is responsible for having it processed.

Last night, a dozen or so hunters were able to harvest a deer or two. The hunt will continue today. Here are some photos from the hunt, harvest and banquet at Bovina Baptist Church last night (all photos by David Day):
