Man arrested after allegedly shooting at juveniles on Friday

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
An adult male was charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle after a shots fired incident early Friday morning in Vicksburg, according to the Vicksburg Police Department.
Police said officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to a report of shots fired in the 100 block of Roseland Drive.
During the preliminary investigation, officers learned that several juveniles arrived at a residence and spoke with an adult male while asking about another juvenile. Investigators said the adult male allegedly fired a gun toward the vehicle occupied by the juveniles as it fled the area.
According to police, the vehicle later became disabled because of the gunfire and was found near Cain Ridge Road and U.S. Highway 61 South.
No injuries were reported.
The adult male was taken into custody and charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle.
