Grace Christian to Host Ribbon Cutting for Renovated Facility

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Grace Christian Counseling Center will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 1. They will celebrate the grand reopening of the newly remodeled facility at 1414 Cherry St.
The center, which has served the local community for years, recently underwent renovations aimed at creating a more welcoming and uplifting space for individuals. The event will include tours of the refreshed center, opportunities to meet staff, and a celebration of the center’s ongoing work supporting individuals in need.
Grace Christian Counseling Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing mental health support, education, and therapy for individuals, families, and groups. Their executive director is Dr. Walter Frazier.
One of the missions that Grace seeks to fulfill is providing these services regardless of income or insurance coverage. Their partnership with United Way of West Central Mississippi and hosting events such as the Key City Classic 5K, allows the opportunity to provide care to individuals in the community despite their income or insurance coverage.
“We are an agency with United Way of West Central Mississippi.” said a representative from Grace Christian. “The most important thing to us is your mental health and safety. We have a great place to go when you need someone to listen offers effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. ”
