Kaitlyn Davis crowned Gala Queen at River City Early College

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Kaitlyn Davis was selected as Gala Queen at River City Early College during a ceremony held Saturday night at the Vicksburg Convention Center.

Davis was one of four senior maids in the running for the 2026 title.

A senior at River City Early College, Davis has been recognized for numerous achievements. She was recently named Miss Congeniality 2026 at the 53rd Annual Debutante Ball. She also serves as Gator Girl Captain at Vicksburg High School and is active in several organizations at River City Early College, including Phi Theta Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta and Key Club.

Peers and faculty describe Davis as a poised and dedicated student who exemplifies grace, confidence and integrity both inside and outside the classroom.

Her selection as Gala Queen highlights not only her academic accomplishments but also her positive influence within the school community.

Family members called the moment one of immense pride, celebrating Davis’ growth into a remarkable young woman whose kindness and determination continue to inspire those around her.
