“I’m ecstatic and I can’t believe that I get to share this moment with everyone and I’m grateful for everything,” Flagg said.

Flagg officially found out that she was selected a few weeks ago as the Gator football team voted her as Queen.

“I appreciate you guys and this wouldn’t have happened without you,” Lauren added.

Dr. LaToya Allen alongside Assistant Principal Stacey Vaughn crowned Flagg at halftime.

At VHS, Flagg is involved in the Key Club, cheerleading, media team, student council, and many more organizations. After high school, she plans to go to Southern University and major in mass communication.

Lauren is the daughter of Rhondilyn Nix and Johnny Flagg Jr.
