Manhattan Short at The Strand
Vicksburg’s The Strand Theatre will host the Manhattan Short Film Festival on Sept. 26 and Oct. 3. Attendees can vote for Best Film and Best Actor while enjoying top short films from around the world. Tickets are available for $10.
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg’s The Strand Theatre will screen the Manhattan Short Film Festival: You Be the Judge, on two separate weekends.
The theatre encourages viewers to discover their inner film critic by casting votes for Best Film and Best Actor in the 29th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival screenings on Saturday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Oct.3. Both showings begin at 7 p.m.
Attendees will join film lovers simultaneously in over 500 venues across the globe gathering to see the 10 finalist from 10 countries in this year’s event.
With past finalists garnering Oscar nominations and short films continuing to move into the Hollywood mainstream, become a part of the entertaining program featuring the best short films in the world today. Ballots will be supplied upon entry.
Advance tickets are available at Highway 61 Coffeehouse for $10. The Theatre is located at 717 Clay Street in downtown Vicksburg.
And as always the popcorn is free.
