Narcotics and Firearms Found, 2 Arrested at Iowa Blvd. Traffic Stop

VICKSBURG, Miss. – The Vicksburg Police Department released a statement regarding a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 61 south and Iowa Boulevard earlier today that led to two arrests after discovering numerous firearms and narcotics in the vehicle.

According to the Vicksburg Police Department, shortly after 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, officers of the Vicksburg Police Department made a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 61 South and Iowa Boulevard. A search of the vehicle revealed a number of firearms and illegal narcotics.

The two occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody at the scene and will be held without bond until their initial appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court.
