Ollie’s is coming to Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Ollie’s is officially coming to Vicksburg.

The discount retail chain will open in the former Big Lots building at 1800 South Frontage Road. Job openings have already been posted online, confirming that the new store is preparing to open in the city.

According to the company’s website, Ollie’s has operated since 1982 and is considered America’s largest retailer of closeout merchandise and excess inventory. The company operates more than 645 stores nationwide.

Ollie’s stores carry a wide range of merchandise, including housewares, flooring, food, cookware, toys, games and electronics, offering brand-name items at discounted prices.

The closest existing Ollie’s location to Vicksburg is in Jackson.
