Port Gibson Native Killed in Car Crash on Saturday

A Port Gibson native was killed in a car crash on Saturday morning. The victim’s car ran off the road and hit a tree in the early morning hours.

The crash happened just a little after 4 a.m. on Highway 18 in Claiborne County. The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Air’Eonna R. Miller, of Port Gibson. She was pronounced dead at the scene after her 2017 Nissan Altima collided with a tree.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is in charge of investigating the fatal crash.
