Results from Run thru History’s 10K event

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —The 47th Annual Run Thru History was held at Vicksburg National Military Park on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Included as part of the event was a 10K run featuring 161 participants.

The top three slots were taken by three teenage males. The first place finish went to Jack Kelley, 18. David Bennett, 15, came in at second, and placing third was Dalton Bliss, 16.

Kelley had a time of 33:38 with a pace of 5:24. Bennett’s track time was 34:51 with a pace of 5:36. Bliss ran in at 39:04 and paced at 6:17.

Finishing in first place for the females was 47-year old Ashley Mason. Mason’s pace was 7:06 with a track time of 44:09. She placed 12th overall.

Ginger Lee, 13, came in second place for the ladies with a time of 48:48 and a pace time of 7:51. Lee placed 21st overall.

Rounding out the top three for women’s was 25-year old Morgan Winker. Placing 23rd overall, Winker’s pace time was 7:54 with a track time of 49:10.
