River Ridge to celebrate 50 years on May 8

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — River Ridge Behavioral Health, formerly known as Warren-Yazoo Behavioral Health, is marking a major milestone and inviting the community to help celebrate 50 years of service on Thursday, May 8.

The celebration will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the River Ridge facility, located at 3444 Wisconsin Ave., and will honor five decades of commitment to providing behavioral and mental health services in the Vicksburg area.

Since its founding in 1975, they have served thousands of individuals and families with a range of mental health programs and support services. The anniversary event will include remarks from staff and partners to reflect on the organization’s impact in our region.
