St. Aloysius falls 42-20 to Adams County Christian

NATCHEZ, Miss. (VDN) — St. Aloysius took an 42-20 loss to Adams County Christian School on Friday. The loss put the Flashes’ record at 3-5 on the season as they still have a couple of game left to finish out a .500 season.

St. Al scoring drives:

  • Second quarter: Sadler Lambiotte threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Walt Andrews.
  • Third quarter: Lambiotte connected with Beau Brogdon for a 55-yard touchdown.
  • Fourth quarter: Lambiotte scored on a 24-yard run late in the game.

Game leaders:

  • Quarterback Sadler Lambiotte finished with 134 passing yards, two touchdown passes, and a rushing score. He also led the team with 48 yards on the ground.
  • Walt Andrews caught eight passes for 79 yards and a touchdown while also contributing nine tackles and an interception on defense.
  • Beau Brogdon added a 55-yard touchdown reception and matched Holden Davidson with nine tackles.
  • Holden Davidson also recorded three tackles for loss.

The Flashes (3-5, 1-2) will return home next Friday, Oct. 24, to face Indianola Academy in a crucial game that could determine their playoff fate.
